Crescentcanna.com (the “Site”) is operated by Crescent Distributions, Inc. (“we,” “us”), 2728 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. This policy covers the Site, including our online store, customer accounts and checkout.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: name, email address, phone number and password, if you create an account
• Order details: billing and shipping address, phone number, products purchased, order history and any discount codes used
• Payment details: entered at checkout and processed by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on the Site. If you save a card for future orders, our payment processor stores it.
• Your date of birth, collected at checkout to verify you are 21 or older
• Messages you send us through chat, email, phone or Site forms, and product reviews you submit
• Your email address, if you sign up for marketing emails
• Your email address, if you ask to be notified when a product is back in stock

Information collected automatically

When you visit, we and our service providers automatically collect:

• Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP
• Pages viewed, products viewed and added to cart, links clicked, time on page, and the site, ad or affiliate that referred you (including campaign/UTM parameters), which we also attach to your order
• Your email address and related contact details, which our marketing partners Customers.ai and Herb may match to your visit using data they already hold, so we can send you marketing emails

This is collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.

How we use it

We use this information to process and ship orders, collect sales tax, run your account, verify age, answer support requests, send order updates, reminders about unfinished checkouts, and marketing emails, prevent fraud and spam, run analytics and track how visitors use the Site and store, and measure and show our ads.

Who receives it

• Order processing: our payment processor, shipping carriers, TaxJar (sales tax), Mailgun (order and account emails) and Klaviyo (order details)
• Analytics: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, Matomo, Ahrefs Web Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, Metorik (store reporting)
• Advertising and measurement: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) through our server-side tracking provider Stape, Snap Pixel, Viant (iPredictive), UXRV, LiveIntent, Herb, Dstillery, CNNA, LQM, and partners these providers use for audience and identity matching
• Visitor identification: Customers.ai, including its partner service at usbrowserspeed.com, and Herb
• Affiliate program: Awin, to credit affiliates for orders they refer, including Roeye, which loads with Awin’s tracking
• Email marketing: Klaviyo, including tracking site activity and checkout starts for people already in our email list
• Customer support and reviews: Gorgias (chat and support) and REVIEWS.io
• Security and Site operation: Cloudflare (bot and spam protection), Cloudways (hosting), Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts, and Elementor (accessibility widget)

Advertising providers may use the data to measure ad performance and to show you our ads on other sites and apps. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to show our ads on other sites based on your past visits to our Site. We use Google Analytics advertising features, including Google Signals and remarketing. Some advertising partners may match your browser to other identifiers they hold, such as a hashed email address, to measure ads. We do not sell personal information for money. Under some state laws, sharing data with advertising partners for targeted ads may be considered a “sale” or “sharing”; see Your choices below to opt out.

We may also disclose information to comply with law or protect our rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of company assets.

Your choices

• Opt out of targeted ads on the Site: click Opt out on the cookie notice, or use the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer at any time. We then stop loading advertising tags and Customers.ai visitor identification for your browser on the Site. Analytics, Klaviyo, Awin affiliate tracking, Herb visitor identification, customer support chat and the services needed to process orders continue to run. To opt out of Herb, email [email protected] with “Herb removal” in the subject line and we will pass your request to Herb.
• Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically.
• Opt-outs are stored in a cookie on your browser and device. If you clear cookies or switch browsers, you will need to opt out again.
• You can also opt out of interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org, opt out of Google’s personalized ads at adssettings.google.com, block or delete cookies in your browser, or opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Email: unsubscribe with the link in any marketing email. Order and account emails are still sent when you place an order.
• Account: you can view and update your account details and order history in My Account.
• The Site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

Your rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing. To make a request, email [email protected] or call (504) 224-9555. You may use an authorized agent to make a request; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If we deny your request, you can appeal by emailing [email protected] with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond within the time required by your state’s law.

Signup offers: We may offer a discount or other perk for signing up for our emails, and we can change or end any offer at any time. In exchange, we collect your email address and email activity. You can unsubscribe at any time. We consider the value of your information roughly equal to the offer.

Age

The Site and our products are intended only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Retention and security

How long we keep data depends on its type:

• Order records: kept as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal requirements
• Account details: kept until you ask us to delete your account
• Analytics data: kept while it is useful for comparing Site performance over time
• Advertising data: kept by our advertising partners under their own retention policies
• Marketing contacts: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them
• Your opt-out choice: stored in your browser for one year

We use reasonable safeguards to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.
